I cannot believe how many tests I went through while trying...MAN, the money I spent, but I didn't care!!!! CVS had coupons!!! (So I felt a little better about it.) ;) Again, I hope you won't need to use all those! -Sarah
You could always do what I did two weeks ago - go to the doc. for an unrelated issue that might necessitate an x-ray. Technician will likely ask if there's a chance you're pregnant. Laugh and say in offhand manner "Uh I suppose" (knowing full well it's a snowball's chance in h#ll). Then they'll send you back to the lab for the pregnancy test and you can be disappointed and cry in the lab when the result is negative (of course) before heading back for stupid x-ray. The whole experience was so miserable I haven't even been able to talk or blog about it. But at least I didn't have to pay for the EPT. *sigh*
Born and raised in the Midwest, I am now busy raising 4 sons, 2 dogs, and 1 husband in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I would never have predicted this life, but I would never change it either. After taking a prolonged break from blogging, I thought it might be fun to write about my latest adventure: training for a marathon. Will I make it to the starting line this July? Will I cross the finish line 26.2 miles later? As a novice runner in my early 40s, it's anyone's guess!

ReplyDeleteYou know that I'm really, really hoping you don't get a chance to use all those right??
ReplyDeleteHey Sunny! Hey there Sunny! Hello there... Oh LOL...I thought you were NOT paying attention.
ReplyDeleteSymptoms or no symptoms...I am hoping for you!
The tests....oh yes! Their time will come and I have very neutral feelings about them these days!
Sunny: Thank You.
ReplyDeleteLOL I hope you get your 2 lines right away and don't need all those.
ReplyDeleteIf you get pregnant this cycle, I'll send you my mailing address. :D
ReplyDeleteLaughing at MK's comment.
ReplyDeleteYes the sadness is shared...hugely.
In the spirit of super in your face positivity I can't wait to see all those pretty pink double lines!!!!!!

Don't you love it when the cashier gives you a crazy look at the dollar tree?
ReplyDeleteYou have enough to start testing today. Get on with it!
ReplyDeleteThrow out those tests! I took a stupid dollar store test at 14 dpo after a blood draw beta of 79 and it barely turned pink.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
